Woman, with brother's help kills son in Vikarabad

Fed up with the harassment of her alcoholic son, a woman with the help of her brother killed his minor son. The incident took place in the Kohli area of Vikarabad district on Friday.

According to the police, Siva Prasad, a teenager, had become addicted to alcohol and used to return home in a drunken state and quarrel with his mother. Unable to bear the harassment, she hatched a plan to kill her son with the help of her brother.

Later, the victim's uncle strangled Siva Prasad to death and buried him in a dry well. The police who registered a missing case found the body of Siva Prasad in the well. Investigations revealed that Siva Prasad's mother killed him with the victim's uncle. The police arrested the two people and registered a case.

Two weeks ago, a 65-year-old woman was killed by her son in Ambem village of Nizamabad district. The accused killed his mother after she refused to give money to buy liquor. The accused who was alcoholic learned that his mother received pension and asked for money. A quarrel broke out between the two after she refused to give money which resulted in the murder.
