World Social Work Day observed

Hanamkonda: The need of hour is maintaining healthy relationship with people around, Prof T Srinivas, Head of Department of Sociology and Social Work, has said, speaking at the one-day workshop on the occasion of World Social Work Day here on Tuesday. Speaking on the theme of 'Promoting the Importance of Human Relationships', he said that social work practitioners often ignore the necessity of maintaining cordial relation with their clients, which is must.

"A better relationship with clients paves way for better future. Social work practitioners should play a pivotal role in the strengthening of human relationships. Social work practitioners should have insights in all the fields of society," he said. All India Universities Employees Confederation (AIUEC) vice-president Dr Pulla Srinivas, K Subhash, S Sahiti, M Jasmine and K Venkateshwarlu were among others present.
