Yadadri temple to be opened for devotees from June 8
Sri Lakshminarayana Swamy temple in Yadadri will be re-opened for devotees from tomorrow, announced district collector Anitha Ramachandran on Saturday after a meeting with temple authorities, revenue and the police.
Later speaking to media, the collector said that they have all the arrangements for resuming darshan from temple following COVID-19 norms. However, the devotees should wear a face mask and maintain social distancing in the queues as boxes were already marked, she said.
The devotees will be allowed inside the temple after thermal screening and hand sanitizers will be provided to them at the entrance of Balalayam.
N Geetha, temple executive officer said that devotees have to cooperate with the staff as no shatagopam, theertham and prasadam will be provided. However, the laddu prasadam that is kept in a plastic cover will be sold at the counters. The devotees will be allowed to the darshan of presiding deity at Balalayam between 5 am and 8 pm.
