Yadadri temple to be ready by February

Hyderabad: Yadadri temple is now almost ready for inauguration after renovation. The developmental works taken up under the guidance of Chinna Jeeyar Swamy are in final stages and it will be inaugurated in February, according to Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao.

The Chief Minister, who participated in the birthday celebrations of Sri Tridandi Chinna Jeeyar Swamy at his ashram said that renowned Vaishnav pundits will be invited from across the globe to perform Maha Sudharshana Yagam for opening the renovated Yadadri temple.

The CM said that the yagam will be conducted on a grandscale during the inauguration of Narasimha Swamy temple in Yadadri. Special flights are being arranged to bring the pontiffs from different peethams to the yagam venue.

KCR felt he was fortunate that he is also taking part as a sevak (worker) in the installation of the world's largest statue of Ramanuja Swamy in Hyderabad.

He recalled his close association with the Swamy for decades and his service to Jeeyar Swamy as car driver during his visit to Siddipet.

The CM observed temples are a divine community centres and the Hindu tradition propagate peace in society.

"We inherited the practice of faithfulness to God from our parents and it should be continued for next generations," KCR said and sought the blessing of the Swamy who in return presented 'Satya Sankalpa Grandham' to the Chief Minister.

He was accompanied by his wife Shoba, Rajya Sabha MP J Santhosh Kumar and industrialist J Rameshwara Rao and others.

Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamy while blessing the Chief Minister said that KCR had carved a niche for himself in politics. He said normally those in politics shudder to talk about God or religion but KCR does not belong to such league of people.

He is a staunch believer in God and has set an example by performing many yagams. He has also been focussing attention on development of temples in the state.
