Yellareddy Congress MLA to join TRS

Hyderabad: Congress MLA from Yellareddy Constituency Jajula Surender would be soon joining the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS). Jajula Surender met TRS working president K T Rama Rao on Wednesday. Surender said that he wanted to work under Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and get involved in the development of his constituency.

"I have been a part of the agitation under the leadership of K Chandrashekar Rao and even now I want to work with him. My target is to develop the constituency with the spirit of Telangana moment," said Surender. He said that the Chief Minister was developing the newly formed Kamareddy district with innovative schemes. People of the State want the leadership of the Chief Minister and this was reflected in the recent Assembly elections.

Surender alleged that the Congress leaders have gone away from people and they were adamant in their approach. Surender resigned from the Congress and said that if needed he would resign as MLA and re contest election on TRS ticket. This is the tenth Congress MLA, who has expressed his willingness to join the TRS.
