Youth booked for sexually assaulting minor girl in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: A case was registered by the police against a 20-year-old youth for sexually assaulting a minor girl on Tuesday night at Ramanthapur under Uppal police station limits.

The girl's family, a native of Andhra Pradesh had come to the city to earn their living and are residing at Ramanthapur. Meanwhile, the parents of the girl approached Uppal police on Tuesday alleging that the accused identified as Mahesh sexually assaulted their daughter.

The police registered a case and are investigating it. They also launched a hunt to nab Mahesh who had gone absconding.
