Youth Congress takes out rally seeking jobs
Khammam: The Youth Congress leaders took out a protest rally in Khammam seeking jobs. Speaking on the occasion, Youth Congress leader Y Santosh stated that the Central and the State governments have failed to implement poll promises.
Adding that a number of unemployed youth has been eagerly waiting for the job notifications for the last four years, Santosh said the BJP government had miserably failed in providing jobs. On the occasion, he threatened to intensify the protests if the governments remain mute spectators towards the growing unemployment in the country.
Former MLC Potla Nageswara Rao said people were eagerly waiting to teach a befitting lesson to the ruling parties in the coming up days. He said the both Telangana Rashtra Samithi and the Bharatiya Janata Party have failed to keep the promises they made during the elections. He also added that the Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has presented a lacklustre budget which was high on promises. He appealed to governments to address the unemployment issue as early as possible.
City Congress president Javed, NSUI district president Uday Kumar, secretary Jayaprakash, Minority Bloc president Tajuddin, leaders of the party Naresh, Venu, Sravan, Madhu, Yasin and others attended the programme.
