Youth drowns in lake while recording Tik-Tok video

Hyderabad: A youngster on Wednesday drowned in Dulapally Lake while recording a Tik-Tok video.

The incident came into light when the police retrieved his body out of the lake on Thursday.

The deceased has been identified as Narasimha (24) from Zaheerabad. He came to his cousin Prashanth's house at Suraram area and they both visited the Dulapally Lake on Wednesday evening hours.

The incident occurred while Narasimha who can't swim was recording a Tik-Tok video and Prashanth was capturing the video sitting on the lake banks.

Accidentally when Narasimha slipped and drowned into the lake, Prashanth soon called the locals to help, but left in vain. On the receipt of the information, police rushed to the spot and tried to search for the body.

But due to lack of sunlight the dead body was brought out of the lake on Thursday and shifted to Gandhi Hospital mortuary for postmortem.

By registering a case Petbasheerabad police are investigating.
