Jagtial: Youth told to take inspiration from Professor Jayashankar

Jagtial: Everyone must follow the footsteps of Prof Jayashankar and must strive hard to fulfil his dreams and aspirations, said MLA Dr Sanjay Kumar.

Prof Jayashankar's birth anniversary was celebrated on a grand note in Jagtial on Tuesday. After garlanding the statue of Prof Jayashankar at IMA Hall near Karimnagar road, MLA Dr Sanjay Kumar reminded that this statue was installed under the supervision of former MP and Telangana Jagruthi president Kalvakuntla Kavitha so that people can get inspiration whenever they see the statue of Prof Jayashankar.

He said that Prof Jayashankar strived hard and dreamt of achieving separate statehood for Telangana and always fought against the injustice done to Telangana people during the reign of previous governments in the united Andhra Pradesh.

As per his dreams, Telangana State is leading towards development under the leadership of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and became a model for other States across the nation in the implementation of various welfare schemes for all sections of people, he said.

The MLA suggested the youth to derive inspiration from Prof Jayashankar and must follow his footsteps along with participating actively in various developmental activities for achieving Bangaru Telangana.

ZP chairperson Dava Vasantha, S Srinivas, A Jaya Sri, A Lakshman, Shivakesari, Babu, Narendar, Nagaiah, Srinivas and Giri were present along with others.
