Zaheerabad rape accused died in road accident at Medak district

Hyderabad: One of the three accused who raped a married woman in Zaheerabad has died in a Road accident and one other suffered severe injuries on Wednesday.

The three accused who duped as the police and raped a woman who was returning to Surayapet from Bidar along with her son in the bus. The accused unboarded the woman from the bus, where two pretended to check the luggage and kept her son with them. The other one took the woman to an isolated place and raped her.

Immediately, the victim lodged a complaint with the police station. The police who registered a case has initiated the investigation. In this context, the police found the accused near Mahabutpur village at Raikode Mandal in Medak district on Wednesday morning.

On seeing the police, the accused escaped in the car and police chased them. With this, the speeding car lost control, crashed and overturned. In the impact of the collision, one died on the spot, and others suffered severe injuries.

The police rushed the injured to the hospital, where he is said to be in critical condition. However, the police are continuing to trace the third accused in the case.
