Zaheerabad: Women told to ask cops for help

Zaheerabad: Superintendent of Police Chandrasekhar Reddy said that women in emergency should dial 100 for police assistance. He conducted a divisional-level staff meeting here on Tuesday.

Speaking on the occasion, the SP said people should not pass false information to 100. SHE teams were established for the protection of women and CCTV cameras in a large numbers had been set up to prevent untoward situations, he pointed out. DSP Ganapathi Jhadav, CIs Saideshwar, Krishna Kishore, SIs Vinay Kumar, Ramu, Yedukondalu, Gopi, Vijay Rao, ASI Suresh Kumar and others were present.
