ZP chairman Lingala Kamal Raju makes a surprise visit to Khammam hospital
Khammam: Zilla Parishad chairman Lingala Kamal Raju has conducted a surprise visit to the main hospital in Khammam on Tuesday and inspected all wards and interacted with the patients.
He also visited the dialysis and orthopedic wards and inspected the duty register. He sought to know about issues the hospital staff were facing and discussed several issues with the Superintendent of Hospital.
Later, he took part in a meeting held with all doctors and staff in the hospital and directed them to create awareness about seasonal fevers among the people.
Stating that the government was giving more funds for improving health services in the State, the ZP chief added that the area hospital was fully developed on par with corporate hospitals.
Later, he expressed satisfaction over the functioning of the hospital. ZPTC member Vara Prasad, health officers B Srinivas, M Tirumala Rao, M Srinivas Yadav, Ramesh, Dharma, Ravi Kumar and others were present during the ZP chairman's visit.
