Now, Money Heist series is one of the best crime drama around the globe and of you haven't watched the first two seasons, please go and watch. Season-3 picks up from where the story ends in season-2. It will be more easy to connect with characters if you see the early seasons and we recommend it.
The first episode again follows Tokio and her love nest with Rio seems to be all sorts of safe heaven with an island in the middle of nowhere, isolated and rich with natural resources. Tokio can't handle the isolation for too long as she misses cities the most. This results in Rio getting caught as she moves to a city and he tries to contact, her.
Police fail to nab Tokio as she could slip them in vast open spaces of city but Rio is caught stranded on the island. This prompts The Professor to plan the biggest heist that his elder brother, Berlin, always wanted to execute, robbing the The Bank of Spain's gold reserves as a mark of war against the establishment.
Racquel joins the team as a robber even though The Professor wishes to go lone wolf in planning the operation from outside asusual. The team adds Bogota, Palermo and Marseillie into the team. Palermo is Berlin closest friend and he takes the command of heist from Inside.
The gang rain a 140 Million Euros on the streets of Madrid and announce that they will invade Bank of Spain as Rio is captured and tortured by the establishment. People support them as the symbol of anti-establishment and they come to Bank in huge numbers.
Well, the gang coming back and Tokio getting slapped for being inconsiderate by Racquel and the scenes where the gang tries to accept the plan for another heist are highlights of this first episode. Makers have retained the second season tone shift from being slow paced to fast paced yet giving major characters moments to shine.
Once again, The Professor exudes major charisma to captivate us and Tokio seems to be always on the edge. Actors did a great job in portraying their roles. Helsinki, Nairobi again show signs of solid comic relief for this season 3. This is a solid start to the season, for sure.
