Stranger Things season 03 Episode 01 review!
Stranger Things on Netflix became such a big hit that it could be developed on to the big screen as IT. Stephen King's novels became a big success on TV but Stranger Things proved that they can also be equally successful on OTT platforms too.
The seasons 1 & 2 became huge hits all across the globe and the season 3 starts off on a different note than the both. It starts building up on the plot more than delivering scares from the word go. The pacing is slower than the second season starter.
First episode of the new season tells us how her favorite characters are growing up and facing their own issues. It keeps pointing at the fact that these issues have to be addressed while the major threat is still looming around.
It tries to build a plot of evil Russians too but for a scary show about the mysterious entities, the plot additions seem too long stretched out and unnecessary at times within the first one.
The start for the season is not highly promising but the show did deliver in the later half of second season and we hope, this one too builds up and delivers on the suspense levels.
Comedy portion and the imaginative structure of the episodes are still intact and that should be highly encouraging for us to dwell into next episodes. On the whole, an underwhelming start and let's explore the show this season, episode by episode.
