Rajamahendravaram: Deputy Chief Minister S B Amzath Basha has said that Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy is implementing many schemes for the welfare of minorities in the State.

Participating in a function organised in connection

with Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's birthday at Azad Chowk here, he said a

sum of Rs 1,700 crore was spent for the welfare of minorities during the last 18 months. He said the Chief Minister stood in first place in the country in implementing welfare schemes and everyone should extend support to him.

Another Deputy Chief Minister K Narayana Swamy congratulated Rajanagaram MLA Jakkampudi Raja, MP Margani Bharat Ram and city co-ordinator Srighakollapu Sivarama Subramanyam for organising week-long celebrations and various events.
