The Sarpavaram police nabbed three persons in connection with theft of a car and two-wheelers and recovered property worth of Rs 5.75 lakh on Wednesday.
Kakinada: The Sarpavaram police nabbed three persons in connection with theft of a car and two-wheelers and recovered property worth of Rs 5.75 lakh on Wednesday.
According to Sarpavaram CI R Govinda Raju, the arrested are Pilli Suresh Kumar of Kakinada, Tummalaapalli Vasu of Vemavaram in Samarlakota mandal and Bavisetty Venkateswara Rao of Panduru in Kakinada rural.
The three have been indulging in theft of vehicles for quite some time and based on complaints of thefts the police registered the cases. They arrested the three and recovered property worth of Rs 5.75 lakh.
The CI complimented Sarpavaram SI M Pawan Kumar for taking the initiative and arresting the accused and recovering the property. The accused were produced in court and sent to remand.
