Anantapur: Three youngsters in their 30's and political heirs of veteran TDP leaders are now trying their luck as first time contestants in the district. Paritala Sri Ram is the son of Paritala Ravi, an ex-Maoist and labelled as a strong faction leader. After his assassination in 2005, his widow Paritala Sunitha became an MLA.

She was a three-time MLA and currently a minister in the Chandrababu Naidu government. Sharing a rich political background, Paritala Sri Ram, an engineering graduate is contesting as an MLA candidate from Raptadu. He is sweating it out touring the length and breadth of the constituency along with his mother. Sri Ram is promising to create jobs by bringing in industries to his constituency and involve the youth in constituency development.

Another youngster in his 30's who is trying his luck as an MP candidate is J C Pawan Kumar Reddy. He is an MBA and has innovative ideas for the development. Coming from a strong financial background and is experiencing the advantages and disadvantages of being in politics.

While Tadipatri is his family domain, he is finding it hard to grasp the political realities outside Tadipatri as the Assembly segments have different political situation. For over two years Pawan had been touring the MP constituency and implementing his own welfare schemes like setting up water treatment plants in more than 200 villages etc. He is also having a hard time to win over his father's opponents. He is promising the young generation of development by creating jobs.

J C Ashmit Reddy is also another youth in his 30's. He is the son of J C Prabhakar Reddy, a veteran politician and a sitting MLA. Ashmit Reddy however is not very familiar with politics. His father Prabhakar Reddy is actively campaigning for him and introducing him to people and urging them to standby his son just as they supported him. He is promising to change the rustic culture of Tadipatri into a highly civilised and developed constituency.
