40 IIAM students join beach clean-up drive at Mangamaripeta
Integral Institute of Advanced Management (IIAM) Business School conducted beach and underwater clean-up drive as part of its ‘National Management Week 2019’ at Mangamaripeta on Sunday.
Visakhapatnam: Integral Institute of Advanced Management (IIAM) Business School conducted beach and underwater clean-up drive as part of its 'National Management Week 2019' at Mangamaripeta on Sunday.
It was held in association with Platypus Escapes Pvt Ltd to spread awareness about the UN's Sustainable Development Goals – Life below water. Around 40-plus students from IIAM along with the scuba divers of Platypus Escapes cleared 300 kgs of trash in 45 minutes.
The students worked towards keeping the beach clean in order to promote cleanliness and conserve underwater life, also with an agenda to attract more tourists. Every year, Association of Indian Management Schools call for all the management schools under its umbrella to dedicate a week for community development activities. This year, IIAM takes the initiative forward to extend support to sustainable community development.
