65,142 patients recover from Covid in Anantapur
Active cases in the district are 559
Anantapur: The Covid-19 mobile laboratory is testing hundreds of people at different places in the district every day. However, most of the citizens are not wearing masks and seem to be no longer afraid of the virus.
While coronavirus appears to be on the wane and normalcy restored with the official lifting of the lockdown, the virus is like an undercurrent with still hundreds in covid hospitals and in Covid Care Centres. Every day on an average 100 corona patients who underwent treatment are being discharged.
However, the fact that 50 new cases are being detected on a daily basis suggests that coronavirus is alive and kicking. Citizens of course are no longer bothered about the virus.
The total number of detected positive cases in the district stands at 66,284. Active cases under reatment in hospital account for 559. The number of patients recovered so far is 65,142 and the number of deceased so far is 583.
