Tirupati: The fire broke out in the Boondi Potu adjacent to Tirumala temple on Sunday afternoon. Boondi Potu is part of Tirumala temple kitchen where ' boondi' requires for making laddu prasadam. The incident happened while preparing the prasadam.
Firefighters rushed after receiving information from TTD official engaged to bring down the fires. Though the cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained by TTD officials, the preliminary report indicates that high flames erupted due to excess heat from a pan while preparing boondi caused the fire.
