In a horrific incident in Guntur district, the ninth standard gird was raped by a young man. The incident took place in the Mullukaduru village of Ponnuru Mandal in the district. The young man who raped the student warned of severe consequences if the latter has informed her parents.
Despite the fear, the girl informed her parents about the brutality she met. With the help of her parents, she lodged a complaint with Ponnuru rural police station. The victim's parents have complained that the police are not showing any interest in the case and hence they complain to Rural SP for justice.
