Uyyala Muralikrishna from Purushottamapattanam village in Chilakaluripeta zone joined the NGO Ranga Varsity as an outsourcing partner three years ago. On April 12, 2019, he was fired. Muralikrishna, who was on his way back to the secretary on the 23rd of last month, asked the registrar to permit him to join duties.

But VC Vallabhaneni Damodar was angry at Muralikrishna and abused. Murali Krishna complained to the police, alleging that VC threatened to kill him again. After scrutinising the CCTV footage, police arrested VC on Sunday and appeared him before the court. He was taken to 15 days judicial custody. Two years ago, a similar case was filed against VC.

It is reported that Muralikrishna and his wife Vijayadurga, along with some others, have been fired because of their affection for the YSRCP. It is alleged that a social group promoted him.

Employees who have suffered losses due to VC actions have already lodged complaints with the governor and CM. The Jagan government has appointed the Commissioner of Marketing, Pradyumna to inquire into the allegations against Vice-Chancellor.
