Amaravati: As part of the peaceful protest against the state government, Amaravati farmers formed a human line from MLA quarters at Rayapudi village to Venkatayapalem on Monday. They staged this protest when the Chief Justice and other judges were going to the High Court by the road. On the other hand, the farmers at the 29 villages in the capital region continued their agitation. Farmers blocked the roads at Pedaparimi village, raised slogans against the state government, Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and the YSRCP Bapatla MP Nandigam Suresh. They said that the police must arrest Suresh, who instigated his followers against the protesting women on Sunday.

B Ramesh Babu, a member of Amaravati Farmers JAC, said that their protests would continue till the state government withdrew the proposal of the three capitals. He said that the JAC had decided to bring their anguish to the notice of High Court judges by forming a human line like they did on Monday.

The JAC leaders also said that they would plead with HC judges in this peaceful manner

on a daily basis. He said that they only fold their hands and show the placards of Please Save Amaravati, while the judges travel to the court.
