With the migrant workers from various states across the country are facing severe hardships in Andhra Pradesh for the last couple of months, the YSRCP government headed by chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has decided to evacuate the migrant workers to their home states for free of charge on special busses. It is known the fact that the migrant workers are struggling to feed themselves due to lack of food, and some people are walking miles to reach their homes. Hence, the state governments are making all arrangements to evacuate the migrant labourers. AP CM YS Jagan has taken a crucial decision on migrant workers to this extent.

Officials were ordered to provide free travel for migrant workers for next 15 days. He said that migrant labourers, especially those travelling to their hometowns, should be taken on buses and transported to the state borders. Seeing the plight of migrant labourers walking with their children without broad sunlight, CM Jagan made this decision. The authorities have been ordered that the migrant labourers are to be evacuated for free of charge for 15 days in the RTC buses that are operating as per the protocol.

The YSRCP government has once again given key directions on lockdown relaxation in Andhra Pradesh. It also directed the authorities not to interfere in any of the agricultural activities and suggested that there should be no obstacles to the transportation and marketing of agricultural products. It has been ordered to take adequate care in the matters of wage transport, seeds and fertilizer. The government said that there should be no interruption for any works except in the containment areas. The farm equipment and repair shops are said to be remained open every day from 7 am to 7 pm.
