Andhra man dies in Karnataka road accident
In a tragic incident, a man died in a road accident when a speeding lorry collided with a car in Karnataka on Sunday.
Etcherla: In a tragic incident, a man died in a road accident when a speeding lorry collided with a car in Karnataka on Sunday. The deceased identified as K Bhujanga Rao (40), who belongs to the Navabharatnagar colony at Fareedpeta in the Etcherla mandal of Srikakulam district. He is working as the Managing Director of a company in Ballari.
As Rao was traveling along with his colleague on office work, a speeding lorry collided with their car near Golasangi village in the Bijapur district of Karnataka. With the impact of the collision, Bhujanga Rao, two others died on the spot, and two others sustained severe injuries.
One among the dead, G Yesudasa (30) also belongs to Etcherla in Srikakulam district. Soon after the accident, lorry driver and cleaner left the vehicle and flew away from the spot.
The locals were shocked to see the accident and staged a protest demanding strict actions. Upon receiving the information, the local police reached the spot, registered a case and investigating further.
