In the wake of fast-spreading Coronavirus disease, despite there are no cases in Andhra Pradesh, the Jagan's government is taking measures and releasing the health bulletin at regular intervals. The government have been alerted and has strengthened the surveillance at all airports for containment, control and prevention of COVID-19.

According to the latest media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health and Family Welfare on Monday as many as 441 passengers from COVID-19 affected countries have been identified and placed under surveillance while 206 people are placed under isolation wards and 225 people completed the 28 days observation period.

As part of the preventive measures as many as 34 patients samples were undergone test off which 29 tested negative while five reports are yet to be disclosed. The state control room director of health and Family Welfare has set up a 24x7 control room and Isolation wards at all Government General Hospitals and District Hospitals.

Meanwhile, the DG Drug Control Administration has cancelled the licenses of the medical shops, which are selling the masks for higher costs and issued warning of seizing the shops if they resort to such things.
