A young man enters a school classroom and tries to tie knot to the student as a mark of marriage. The incident took place on Monday at the Rayavaram Mandal in East Godavari district. According to police, a girl from a village in Anaparthi mandal is studying at Rayavaram Zilla Parishad High School. Before the start of classes on Monday, Satti Shiva Reddy, 23, of Koppavaram village in Anaparthi mandal, suddenly entered the tenth class room with a bullet.
The brother of a student of the same school and others pushed the young man out as he rushed to tie a knot to the girl. The accused fled as the teachers also reached there. Police have registered a case against the youth following a complaint by the girl over the incident.
The accused Shiva Reddy reached the girl's house and tried to commit suicide by drinking insecticide. The locals were rushed him to a private hospital in Rayavaram. Hospital sources said he is currently recovering. As per the Information that the young man has been harassing her for years over love.
