Andhra Pradesh: One farmer and eight injured in a road accident at Dasaripalem in Guntur

A road accident has been reported at Dasaripalem of Guntur district on Friday where eight farmers were injured in the incident and a farmer named Riaz was killed. Going into details, the farmers had left from Hindupur to meet Chief Minister YS Jagan in Tadepalli to brief the problems of farmers. Meanwhile, a vehicle carrying farmers met with a road accident at Dasaripalem on the way. The injured were rushed to Guntur Government Hospital for treatment. Hindupur MP Gorantla Madhav who visited the spot and the hospital said it was sad that a farmer died in the accident.

He said that the accident was apparently due to driver negligence and the government responded immediately to the incident. Farmers from Hindupur area are coming to give memorandum to Jagan Mohan Reddy. He said it was unfortunate that a vehicle carrying farmers at Dasaripalem was involved in an accident on the same day.

The family of the deceased farmer was assured that the government would support them. Gorantla Madhav along with MLC Iqbal visited the farmers who were being treated at the at Hospital.
