Andhra Pradesh to receive heavy rains in next two days as Amphan Cyclone turns severe

The Indian Meteorological Department has forecasted that there could be a severe storm Amphan on Sunday evening. It (meteorological department) has warned that it was moving towards northwest at a speed of about 6 km per hour from Sunday morning.
According to IMD, the winds were ravaged by the devastation of the cyclone on Saturday. The power supply was stalled. Thunderbolts were also struck in several places. Amravati Meteorological Center said there will be light to and moderate showers over the next two days in coastal Andhra Pradesh.
