AP Assembly pays tribute to 20 Indian martyrs who died at Galwan Valley

The Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly on Wednesday mourned for the brave soldiers who died in the clash between India and China at Galwan Valley. The house paid tribute by maintaining two minutes of silence to Indian jawans. The condolence resolution was introduced by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.

The legislatures pay tribute to the people on behalf of Andhra Pradesh people to the 20 valiant soldiers who were killed in the Galwan valley bordering the India-China border, while maintaining national integrity and sovereignty. The entire state and the state of Andhra Pradesh are conveying condolences to all their families.

The sacrifice of Colonel Santosh Babu, a Suryapet in Telangana, will forever be remembered by the Telugu people. "We are praying to the Lord to bring peace of mind to our soldier's families who have died," CM Jagan said.

Earlier, Legislative Assembly on Wednesday approved the Andhra Pradesh Annual Budget 2020-21. The Assembly also approved the monetary bill. The government has made it clear that the NRC (National Register of Citizens) will not be implemented under any circumstances. The state legislature today passed a resolution on the NPR and NRC being implemented by the central government.

The bill was introduced by Deputy Chief Minister Amzath Basha in the House after a lunch break. Later, the speaker adjourned the assembly indefinitely.
