Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Monday has held a meeting to review on the year-long programs and schemes implemented by the state government under Mana Palana- Mee Suchana program He said that he had thought that unless there is a strong change in the system there could not be any welfare to the people; hence have brought the village volunteer system. In the meantime, he praised the village secretariat system, village Volunteers and Asha Workers who have taken up the virus control program effectively to combat the coronavirus that is fast spreading in the world.

Speaking at the meeting, Chief Minister YS Jagan said he had noticed the hardships of the people in his 14 months Padayatra walking along 3,648 km. "As soon as the government is formed, we had brought the volunteer system to provide good governance and ensured that every scheme has reached the public," Jagan said. We have made the services available to the people at their doorsteps. SC, ST, BC and Minority have been given 82 per cent opportunity in the volunteer system.

We have provided 4 lakh jobs during the one year with a transparent manner under Village Secretariat System that is working wonderfully and people are happy with the village secretaries system. "We provided pension directly to the homeless and brought Matsyakara scheme, YSR Vahanamitra schemes and etc, " Jagan added.

The Chief Minister said that 43,000 belts were abolished in the state and alcohol sales in the state have come down drastically as alcohol prices have increased sharply. CM Jagan said that the Rythu Bharosa Centers are being opened for the farmers to provide with quality seeds, fertilizers and pesticides. He assured that the farmers will be given a minimum support price for the crops through the price stabilization Fund and the Janata Bazaar will be brought to the villages soon.
