AP govt. announces Rs. 10 lakh ex-gratia to kin of Snehalatha who was murder brutally

Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Thursday announced an ex-gratia of Rs 10 lakh for her family in response to the tragic incident. Compensation of Rs 8.25 lakh will be provided legally in cases of rape of Dalit women. The minister said that this was in addition to the Rs 10 lakh ex-gratia announced by the CM.
He said that CM had directed the police to investigate the case expeditiously without resorting to bias. Of the Rs 8.25 lakh legally available to the Snehalatha family, Rs 4,12,500 is being provided as immediate relief. The government will provide a permanent job for someone in the family. He said he would give the land of the house, the house, the farm of five kinds. The family was provided with hundreds of kilograms of rice, ten liters of cooking oil, ten kilograms of sugar, other essentials and cooking utensils for three months.
State Women's Commission chairperson Vasireddy Padma said a full judicial inquiry would be held into Snehalatha's murder and the accused would be severely punished. On Thursday she visited friendly family members in Anantapur. Meanwhile, another accused Karthik was arrested in the Snehalatha murder case, Sake Karthik, was arrested on Thursday, SP B Satya Yesu Babu told media.
