AP govt frames service rules for the Ward Sachivalayam employees

Another step has been taken regarding the ambitious village and ward secretariat system of the AP government. The division of employees into different categories and terms of service have been. Municipal Secretary's orders were issued to this extent. The Municipal Service Terms of Service include many aspects of ward secretariat recruitment, salary payment, promotions and disciplinary action.

Ward Administration Secretary in the 1st category, Ward Education and Data Processing Secretary in the 2nd category, Ward Sanitation, Environment Secretary, Welfare and Development Department works under category 1.

Employees of various departments of corporations and municipalities are no longer considered employees of the Ward Secretariat. while the Work Inspectors and Fitters are hereafter referred to as the Secretary of Ward. Ward Secretariat employees will be paid salaries under the 010 Code.

The municipal or corporation commissioner monitors other matters such as holidays, loans and advances. The commissioner has the power to investigate the discipline employees and can suspend for a maximum of six months. With the approval of the Appointment Authority after the investigation, the commissioner can take disciplinary actions.
