AP govt issues notification for setting up special ST Commission in the state

The Andhra Pradesh government has issued orders setting up a special ST commission in the state. A special ST Commission has been set up with the approval of the Centre hence the government has issued a notification setting up a special ST commission.

Speaking on the occasion, Deputy CM Pushpasrivani said, "We have been fighting for a special ST commission for many years and opined that Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy fulfilled the promise given to the tribals and the ST Commission has been brought in to protect the tribal rights. Pushpasrivani said that all the tribals are indebted to CM Jagan.
