The government has issued a notification on the retention of funds for repair works related to the CM's residence and camp office. The funds for the security at Hyderabad Lotus Pond Residence and purchase of furniture, electricity and other amenities for the Tadepalli residence have been stalled. Approximately Rs. 3 crores worth of work has been cancelled.

Though the government has to make the arrangements for the CM"s residence, Jagan denied the option and reportedly bearing the costs for the renovation works of his home by himself. The government has released 6 GO's in connection with the cancellation of funds at the behest of CM Jagan. In the past, there has been criticism from opposition parties over funding for official residence. However, Jagan cancelled the funds allocated to his home to shut their mouths.

A few days ago, AP Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy was granted funds by the AP government for some electrical and electro mechanical works at his residence in Lotus Pond, Hyderabad. The government has issued administrative orders for the release of a total of Rs 35.50 lakh. The Roads and Buildings Department has made several suggestions to this extent.
