The CPM party on Tuesday has decided to contest the elections of the local bodies in Andhra Pradesh without any alliance.

The CPM party on Tuesday has decided to contest the elections of the local bodies in Andhra Pradesh without any alliance. Party leaders have decided to stay away from the TDP and the CPI citing differences in ideologies. CPM leaders met in Vijayawada on Tuesday to discuss the strategies to be followed in the election of local bodies. Details of the visit were revealed at a press conference. The comrades decided to go ahead without help of BJP and the TDP.

The CPM is of the view that Chandrababu Naidu lost the power due to anti-people policies. They are in bit furious for the way Naidu has treated the left parties while in ruling by neglecting them in all terms.

The CPM leaders were angry with Chandrababu who sought the alliance with Left parties after losing the of power. On the other hand, it is learnt that the TDP and CPI forged an alliance for local body elections.
