AP Merit Scholarship Scheme: Applications invited from Aug 5
AP state-level National Means cum Merit Scholarship Scheme Examination for class VIII will be conducted on 3rd November (Sunday) from 10 am to 1 pm.
Amaravati: AP state-level National Means cum Merit Scholarship Scheme Examination for class VIII will be conducted on 3rd November (Sunday) from 10 am to 1 pm.
The exam will be held in Telugu, Hindi, Urdu and English medium at all Revenue Divisional Head Quarters of 13 districts in the state. The Application form for AP NMMS 2019-20 can be filled online by visiting the official website www.bseap.org.
Eligibility Criteria:
Scored at least 55% of marks in case of OC/BC and 50% in case of SC/ST/PH or equivalent grade i,e., B+ for all categories in class VII examination studied during the year 2018-19.
Studying in Government, Local Body (ZP/Municipal), Government aided, AP Model (day scholars only) and MPUP (Running 8th class) school only.
Whose parental annual income (both Parents put together) is below Rs 1,50,000 from all sources for which candidates have to produce latest original Annual Income Certificate issued by the MRO in case of Private employee and certificate issued by the employer in case of Government employee.
The students who are studying VIII class in AP Residential High School, AP Social Welfare Residental Schools, AP Tribal Welfare Residential Schools, Government Ashram High Schools and Kasturba Residential Schools, Students studying in AP Model schools with residential with residential facility are not eligible, Jawahar Navadaya Vidyalayas, Kendriya Vidyalayas and in Private unaided Schools are not eligible to appear for NMMS Examination.
Candidates have to submit the original caste certificate (issued by the MRO) to the Headmaster and also to submit the Original VII class Pass Memo of Marks to the Headmaster.
Examination Fee:
The exam fee is Rs 100 for OC and BC students and Rs 50 for SC and ST students. The examination fees have to be paid through SBI Collect only (follow user guide available in website www.bseap.org).
