APCOB funds for sheds at Durga Temple in Vijayawada
The Andhra Pradesh Cooperative Bank (APCOB) has voluntarily come forward to fund Rs 40 lakh for the construction of Tensile Fabric sheds at Sri Durga Malleswara Swamivarla Devasthanam atop Indrakeeladri.

In this regard, the temple executive officer MV Suresh Babu, along with APCOB officials, took part in the foundation stone laying ceremony of the sheds by breaking coconut and participated in special puja on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion on Thursday, the executive officer expressed his gratitude to the officials of APCOB for coming forward and taking up the work voluntarily for the convenience of the devotees.
He said that the sheds would be completed by Dasara festival and would be put to use for the devotees who visit the temple. Temple executive engineer DV Bhaskar, temple Vaidik committee member R Srinivas Shastry, deputy executive engineer NVS Raju and others were present.
