Appoint strong leaders as party in-charges, TDP cadres urge Chandrababu Naidu
TDP activists in Chittoor district have requested the party chief N Chandrababu Naidu on Thursday to appoint active leaders as in-charges of the party at constituency level.
Tirupati: TDP activists in Chittoor district have requested the party chief N Chandrababu Naidu on Thursday to appoint active leaders as in-charges of the party at constituency level. It may be noted that TDP chief has been holding constituency wise meeting at Mamandur gardens in Chandragiri mandal for the last two days.
On the second day on Thursday, many of the mandal level party leaders asked their chief to appoint strong leaders for protecting them locally from the harassment of YSRCP leaders. Party men from GD Nellore and Thamballapalli were among those made such request to Chandrababu Naidu.
They expressed their displeasure over the present constituency in-charges. They pointed out that after the assembly polls, TDP in-charges or other leaders had not taken care about their safety. Thamballapalli leaders asked party president to appoint former minister N Amaranatha Reddy as in-charge of their constituency.
Leaders from Srikalahasti and Nagari have complained that their in-charges are not available locally. Chandrababu assured them he will take care in appointing constituency in-charges considering their requests.
