Andhra Pradesh Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) has generated huge revenue during the Dasara season. The total revenue for the season was Rs 229 crore. 20 crore more than the Dasara season last year's 209 crores. There is a demand for APSRTC special services. The Occupancy Ratio (OR) was 103 per cent.

Following the strike of Telangana RTC workers, the APSRTC buses have increased. A total of 5,887 special buses were operated during the entire festive season, from September 27 to October 13, 2010, with addition to regular services. 50% higher charges on special services. The average income of Rs.13 crores per day for APSRTC comes in the form of charges.

Telangana State RTC workers went on strike at the start of the Dasara season. APSRTC has made good use of this opportunity. At the same time, the number of devotees from Telangana to Vijayawada Kanakadurgamma darshan increased. Because of this congestion, the APSRTC officials run special services from all regions. There are regular buses Vijayawada to Hyderabad. Approximately 40,000 people use APSRTC online services every day
