Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will be inaugurating the Kadapa Steel Factory on the 26th of this month. At the Limestone Park in Jammalamadugu constituency, the chief minister will lay the foundation stone. Jagan will be speaking at a public meeting to be held in the constituency.

State Planning Committee coordinator Talasila Raghuram, Jammalamadugu MLA Dr. Sudhir Reddy and Secretary of State Devi Reddy Sivashankar Reddy have examined the arrangements for Chief Minister's visit.

It is estimated that about 25 thousand people will come for the first time for the foundation. A suitable place for this was examined. Kadapa District Collector and MP Avinash Reddy inspected the site. The meeting will be officially finalized tomorrow. The Kadapa Steel Plant, which employs 20 thousand people, will be completed within three years.

According to the Companies Act 2013, a steel plant will be set up in the name of Hybrid Steels Limited. The state government is investing in 100%. In Budget 2019-20, 250 crores has been allocated. For this, the central government has issued permission to supply iron ore from NMDC and the AP government will soon sign MoU with NMDC.

Union Petroleum, Natural Gas and Steel Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has already met with Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. On the other hand, the govt is all set to lay foundation for the Rajolu-Jaladarashi project on the Kundu River The Brahman Sagar project will be filled with water from the Kundu River.

The police mechanism is currently being working for the arrangements as it is the first rally to be held in the main district. It was also decided to set up meshes with sticks to prevent any undesirable occurrences especially in problematic areas.
