Visakhapatnam: The third Asian Volleyball Confederation Beach Volleyball Continental Cup Tournament will be held in the city from December 16 to 18.
Addressing media here on Sunday, MLA P V G R Naidu (Gana Babu) said the event would be held at RK Beach. Speaking on the occasion, the MLA said that winners in the tournament would have an opportunity to compete in the Olympics.
Further, he stated that 20 teams from seven countries would take part in the tournament to be held for both men and women in different categories. The tournament is being jointly organised by the First Step Sports, Volleyball Federation of India and Andhra Pradesh Volleyball Association.
