Vijayawada: Noted photographer Tanna Srinivas Reddy has been conferred with Master of Federation of Indian Photography (MFIP), a highest honour from the prestigious Federation of Indian Photography (FIP). The award will be presented to Reddy at an international gala event to be conducted in January 2020.

The portfolio consisting of 20 images in Black and White category evaluated by a 5-member jury consisting of highly respected eminent image-makers from different corners of India were put on display at the Cultural Centre of Vijayawada and Amaravati here on Friday.

Explaining the portfolio of 20 images, Reddy said the images were on tribal life routines emerges out of the applicant's passion for capturing different moods of people in a tribal hamlet in South India, especially women and children. Underlying their participation in formal and informal life's routines, there was special charm writ large on their faces.
