The commissioner of prohibition and excise Vivek Yadav issued orders to this effect. He also directed closure of clubs and defence canteens.
The commissioner instructed deputy commissioners take steps to close all IMFL depots, APSBCL and retail outlets.
He urged the people to complain to toll-free No 14500 if anyone violates the orders.
He said they had taken this decision in the backdrop of measures prescribed by the government that all non-essential commercial shops shall be shut down. till March 31.
