Call to make Chittoor city plastic free: MLA A Srinivasulu
Addressing a symposium against the usage of plastic in city, Chittoor MLA A Srinivasulu gave a call for professionals, voluntary organisations, nature lovers and students to make Chittoor plastic free.

He stated that Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy had instructed the Ministers, MLAs and officials concerned to take measures for prohibiting the usage of plastic in the State. The MLA appreciated the efforts of the Chittoor Municipal Corporation for striving to keep city plastic free for the last seven months.
Srinivasulu stressed on the need to create awareness against the usage of plastic among people. He advised residents to carry cloth bags along with them while purchasing vegetables and other shopping needs. Civic body chief C Obulesu has explained the steps being taken in the city for restricting the usage of plastic. Prominent advocate Chandrasekhar, Ladies Club President Dr Manasa and others were present.
