Visakhapatnam: YSRCP is resorting to vindictive politics rather than focussing on resolving the problems faced by the people of the State, former Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Nimmakayala Chinarajappa has said.

Addressing a press conference here on Sunday, he stated that the YSRC leaders were targeting the TDP leaders. "The projects that the TDP government initiated for the welfare of the people have come to a standstill.

Development has taken a backseat in the cash-strapped state," he alleged. Pointing out that the state government was insensitive towards the needs of the people, Chinarajappa said that people were expressing their disappointment over YSRCP's rule.

Later he appealed to the public, TDP party activists to make the ensuing visit of former Chief Minister and TDP chief N. Chandrababu Naidu to Visakhapatnam a success.

He said Naidu will hold a review meeting from October 10 11 in the city during his visit. The conference was attended by former minister Ch Ayyanna Patrudu and TDP urban president S.A. Rehman.
