As the anticipated polling day of May 13 draws near, a surge of voters is flocking to Andhra Pradesh to exercise their democratic right, leading to overcrowded bus stands and transportation challenges. Amidst these concerns, TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu has taken proactive steps to address the issue by penning a letter to the Managing Director of Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC), advocating for the provision of additional buses to accommodate the influx of voters traveling for the AP Elections 2024.

In his letter, Chandrababu Naidu highlighted the significant number of Andhra Pradesh voters residing in Telangana who are keen to return to their hometowns to cast their votes on the polling day. The TDP Chief emphasized the importance of ensuring seamless transportation facilities during this crucial electoral period, particularly for individuals traveling from Hyderabad and other locations to their respective villages in Andhra Pradesh.

Acknowledging the pivotal role of RTC services in facilitating travel to home areas, Naidu underscored the pressing need for increased bus availability to alleviate the strain on existing transportation resources. He noted the current congestion at major bus stands in Hyderabad and Vijayawada, emphasizing the urgency of augmenting the RTC fleet to cater to the rising demand and enhance the voting experience for citizens.
