Kurnool: Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is visiting Kurnool district on January 6. In a press release on Sunday, Joint Collector Rama Sunder Reddy stated that CM's visit to Kurnool was officially confirmed by the CM office. The CM will fly from Gannavaram airport to Orvakal airport in a plane and from Orvakal he will fly in a helicopter to Owk.

He will console the family members of MLC Challa Rama Krishna Reddy, who died recently at a hospital in Hyderabad while undergoing treatment. The Chief Minister after consoling the family members, will also participate at house site pattas distribution programme.

Regarding CM's visit arrangements, Rama Sunder Reddy visited Owk on Sunday and conducted a review meeting with the officials concerned at Zilla Parishad High School. He said the CM after visiting Owk will console the family members of deceased MLC, Challa Rama Krishna Reddy. He ordered the officials to start the works of helipads, leveling of roads, cleaning of jungle and removing the boulders on the way leading to Challa Rama Krishna Reddy.

He also directed the officials to arrange barricading along the road wherever necessary. The DMHO is ordered to arrange a safe room at the Primary Health Care (PHC) centre. Later the joint collector accompanied with the Banaganapalli MLA Katasani Rami Reddy and other department officials visited the places and inspected the surroundings.
