"A country where women are economically, socially and politically upfront can move forward and is a true development, " Jagan wrote on Twitter handle. "I am happy to see that every welfare scheme implemented by our government is ultimately contributing to the empowerment of women, " Chief Minister added.

The Chief Minister asserted that the state government has given special attention to empowering women economically, socially and politically.
