Collector stresses on qualitative solution to petitions in Eluru

Eluru: West Godavari District Collector R Muthyala Raju has asked the officials to ensure qualitative solution to the petitions submitted by people at Spandana programme.

Addressing officials at district coordination committee meeting held here on Monday, the Collector expressed concern that the people have been submitting petitions repeatedly on the same problem as the officials failed to address it to their satisfaction because of their negligence.

The District Collector said that people would approach the 'Spandana' platform with the hope that their problem would be resolved. The officials should show more interest in the qualitative solution in the right time.

They should provide justice to the petitioners who have lot of confidence in the system and submitting their representations. If the officials failed to resolve their problems, the petitions would be reopened again, he added.

Under the Rythu Bharosa scheme, the name of each beneficiary should be registered online so that no farmer should miss the benefits offered under the scheme. Joint Collector M Venugopala Reddy and other officials were present.
